Greetings Gates Families and Students!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! I am honored to be returning for my fourth year as principal of Gates Elementary.

Gates Elementary is full of passionate teachers and staff who are committed to educating children. We believe in our school vision that “Gates students, families, and staff will collaborate to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that empowers all to achieve their personal best.” We care about the whole child and creating life long learners. We teach children that education is a journey and that the journey is just as important as the end goal. As educators, our job is to equip our students to be critical thinkers in an ever changing environment. When we work with our students, we teach them how to set their own goals, how to analyze their progress, and how to adapt their learning.

It is my desire that Gates School continues to build positive relationships with the community and collaborate in the education of our students. Through partnership, we can make our school vision a reality and meet the needs of every student.

¡Saludos a las familias y estudiantes de Gates!

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2023-2024! Me siento honrado de regresar en mi cuarto año como director de Gates Elementary.

Gates Elementary está llena de maestros y personal apasionados que están comprometidos con la educación de los niños. Creemos en nuestra visión de la escuela que “los estudiantes de Gates, las familias y el personal colaborarán para proporcionar un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro y enriquecedor que permite a todos a lograr lo mejor de sí mismos.” Nos preocupamos por el niño en su totalidad y por crear aprendices para toda la vida. Enseñamos a los niños que la educación es un viaje y que el viaje es tan importante como el objetivo final. Como educadores, nuestro trabajo es equipar a nuestros estudiantes para ser pensadores críticos en un entorno en constante cambio. Cuando trabajamos con nuestros estudiantes, les enseñamos a establecer sus propios objetivos, así como a analizar su progreso y a adaptar su aprendizaje.

Es mi deseo que Gates School continúe construyendo relaciones positivas con la comunidad y colaborando en la educación de nuestros estudiantes. A través de la colaboración, podemos hacer realidad la visión de nuestra escuela y satisfacer las necesidades de cada estudiante.
